Review

Small, quiet park next to a lake and a softball field. Parking is easy and the pavilion is close to the playground. There aren’t a lot of frills here, but it’s a nice neighborhood park and kept very clean. The lake is either a blessing or a curse depending on how adventurous your kids are since there’s nothing to stop a quick plunge. Shade is available, but it doesn’t hit the playground area. It was nice to see that the wood chips had some fresh chips in them when I visited, so at least somebody is checking in on this park now and then! Either that, or there’s a kindhearted beaver coming up from the lake to replenish the wood chips… 🙂

Ages: Toddlers (2-5 years), Grade School (6-12 years)
