Review

One of our most frequently visited parks. We have two kids that attend Caldwell Elementary right down the road from this park and it’s an easy stop after picking them up. The down side of this is there is another school right across the street from park that uses the park roads as their pickup lane so there can be heavy traffic to even get through or find parking. One thing that really bothers me about this park, which really can’t be controlled, is the amount of flies swarming you if you bring food to eat at the picnic tables. Much more severe than other parks.

The playground itself is great. There is a little kid area that stays pretty shaded and keeps the kids entertained the entire time. There are several swings, including some toddler swings. The larger playground is perfect for the older kids. It has quite a few climbing features and several slides. It is pretty high, so the monkey bars are quite a bit of a fall if you let go. A pretty big issue with the larger playground is there is no shade, so during the summer the slides are almost unusable from being so hot. There is a splash pad here but we don’t typically use this one since there is one closer to our house. Plenty of seating for parents and the bathrooms are usually decent.

Ages: Toddlers (2-5 years), Grade School (6-12 years)
