Review

A splash pad outta nowhere, so that’s nice. Otherwise, this park feels a little cookie-cutter. Don’t get me wrong–it’s still entertaining enough, especially on a hot day with the splash pad. But it doesn’t have the character that other playgrounds have. No pizzazz, no je n’ais se quoi. There’s a large open field ideal for kite flying. Unfortunately, trash removal isn’t an everyday thing and the frequenters of the park seem to be okay about leaving overflowing trash outside of the cans.

Sidenote: While I was visiting, there were sixteen adults sitting under the pavilion quietly staring at their phones. I thought it a little odd, but it turns out this park is a Pokémon Go gym. So, there’s that, in case that matters in your life!

Ages: Toddlers (2-5 years), Grade School (6-12 years)
