Review

This park is decent if you live nearby and want a quick stop. Parking is ample and the pavilion is right next to the playground, so picnics and parties are easy. There’s a man-made stream and large open fields, but the grass around a cut-down tree wasn’t draining well, so that might not be a good sign for the rest of the field.  Six slides are the primary draw for this playground, including a small slide for learners. There’s a gate missing in the nearby fence, so a kid could run out onto the busy road in a blink. The pavilion wasn’t clean nor new and I noticed that the nearby jog/bike path seems fun but attracted a couple of shady characters into the park while I was visiting because of the easy access to the shaded pavilion. Don’t overreact though–it still felt safe.
